Ultimate Blue Pitbulls Sledge was born on 6/7/2006.  He is registered as UKC United Kennel Club 'Purple Ribon' Breed as American Pit Bull Terrier.  I was with Kim Talylor of Ultimate Blue Pitbulls and we were going to purchase Maya from another pitbull kennel in Georgia.   When we got there we went into the back yard where the pitbull kennels were and saw Maya.  Not realizing Maya had a full brother there, I walked by another pitbull kennel and Sledge was standing there looking out of his dog house.  Just at a first glance I was like Damn look at him.  Is he for sale?  It was pricey for me but I had to have him.  So I purchased Sledge the next day and he was 11 months old.  At that time he was actually called Cortez but to me it didn't fit him and since he had not had puppies I could change it.  He is the most solid pitbull front to back and really nice head. 

So I called him SLEDGE!

I wish everyone could see him in person.  His pictures definitely do not do him justice for his bulliness! Sledge is a Black Brindle.  I really like this exotic look on him because he is so muscular.  The only drawback is that when ABKC American Bully Kennel Club registry came into existence and started judging at the Bully Shows, I feel like with him not being BLUE it hurt his ratings.  I could be wrong because I own him.  But the first picture on this page is of Sledge and ABKC GRAND CHAMPION THUG.  Thug is really awesome and deserves to be where he is and actually he should have been there sooner.  Now Look at Sledge in that picture.  Short, Wide, Thick, and Nice Head?
